Our meeting for September will be a social
As we begin a new, exciting season of Intermountain-STC events, we invite technical communicators from across the region to join us in an evening social. Come meet, mingle, and participate in an open dialogue involving local issues, challenges, and changes in the tech comm field. Have something in particular affecting you or your workplace? Please submit dialogue topics with your RSVP post to the event.

Includes a light meal.
Charge: Free for IM-STC members, students, and sister organizations; $5 charge for others to help cover the event costs.

I’ll be there too! As an educator, I’d like to get the pulse of the job market for technical communicators…I’m hearing conflicting information.
I will be there, too! I am very excited to have a discussion with professionals from across the valley and hear their challenges. I want to know if anyone else is facing a situation where their position is evolving from being a technical writer to much more and how they learn and retain all of the talents and skills they are being asked to contribute.

I am eager to meet fellow STCers. The last several years I have interviewed and hired recent tech writing graduates. Now, I want to know what publishing tools others are using.
