How to Add Yourself to the Member List Page

In redesigning this site, I wanted to provide a way to let you know who belongs to the chapter — not just a list of names, but also faces, profiles, and contact information. That’s why I created the Member List page.
Everyone who is a member of the chapter (which is about 80 people) can add their name and information here.
To add your name to the member list:
- Register as a user on the site using the Sidebar Login box on the right. (Click Register.)
- After you receive a username and password, log in to the site and click the Profile link in the Sidebar login box.
- As you complete the fields, make a special note of the following:
- Nickname: This is the name that appears in the Member List, so just use your first and last name rather than your username.
- Website: This URL appears below your email address.
- Biographical info: This information is your profile description and appears on your author page. The author page appears when people click your name on the Member List page.
- Password: Update your password to something you can remember.
Both the Member List and author pages also show your gravatar picture. This picture is pulled from Gravatar.com, which stands for “globally recognized avatar” and is tied to an email address (so make sure you use the same email that you registered with on intermountain-stc.org). Your gravatar will automatically appear on any site that pulls in gravatars. For example, your gravatar image appears in comments for WordPress themes that have gravatars enabled (like this one).
