Designing from Data: How observing your customers can improve designs and documentation

During this presentation, we will discuss principles for observing customers and using what is learned to create or improve a product. We will cover how a writer’s skill set can be combined with observational data to produce a clearer vision for the product, resulting in a better product and better documentation.

Since 2003 he has contributed to a variety of projects and prototypes including microfilm scanning, Indexing, FamilyFinder, Pedigree Viewer, Life Browser and an upcoming version of FamilySearch.org.
