Chapter Listserv

The Intermountain Chapter has a mailing list for announcements and discussions of interest to chapter members. If you are a new member, you must subscribe to the list; you will not be added automatically to the list.

Subscribing to the Mailing List

  1. Go to http://mailman.stc.org/mailman/listinfo/stc_intermountain.
  2. Complete the form under “Subscribing to stc_intermountain”.
  3. Click Subscribe.A confirmation request will be sent to the address you entered. When you reply
    to that e-mail request, you become a member of the mailing list.

Sending a Message

Note that there is a 50 KB limit on the size of messages, including any attachments.

Replying to Messages

The list is currently set up to direct replies to the author, not the list. (This prevents “out of office” messages from being bounced to the entire list.) If you want your reply to go to everyone on the list, simply add stc_intermountain@mailman.stc.org to the To: or Cc: field of your response.

Changing Your Settings

  1. Go to http://mailman.stc.org/mailman/listinfo/stc_intermountain.
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the big button that says “Unsubscribe or edit options”. (Don’t worry. You won’t have to unsubscribe.)
  3. Enter your e-mail address and password and choose Log in.The membership configuration page displays. From here you can change your e-mail address, your name, your password, and how you would like to receive messages (immediately or in digest format).

Remember that everything may be done from the same URL: http://mailman.stc.org/mailman/listinfo/stc_intermountain.

Subscription to this list is not restricted to chapter members.
