Profile: I'm a senior technical writer for the IT department at the LDS Church. I have a BA in English from Brigham Young University and an MFA in Literary Nonfiction Writing from Columbia University. I also participate in a number of online activities. I write an active technical communications blog at idratherbewriting.com. I record podcasts, often interviewing technical writing luminaries around the world. And I started Writer River, a news site where anyone can submit links to interesting tech comm articles online. I'm also WordPress blog consultant, offering both training and design services.
