The Intermountain Chapter of the Society for Technical Communication (IM-STC) provides the IM-STC website as a service to its members, to those interested in the arts and sciences of technical communication, and to the public, in furtherance of STC’s mission as a 501(c) (3) not-for-profit corporation.

IM-STC is not responsible for, and expressly disclaims all liability for, damages of any kind arising out of use, reference to, or reliance on any information contained within the IM-STC website. While the information contained within the site is updated periodically, no guarantee is given that the information provided on the IM-STC website is correct, complete, and up-to-date. The names and contact information on the IM-STC website are published to facilitate contact with those listed for IM-STC purposes only. It is not intended, and we request that it not be used for commercial purposes.

Reference on the IM-STC website to any specific commercial firm, commercial product, process, or service by trade name, trademark, manufacturer, or otherwise, does not constitute or imply its endorsement, recommendation, or favor by IM-STC’s parent organization: The Society for Technical Communication, the members of the STC Board of Directors or administrative councils, or the STC electronic media committee.

Discussion: Applicability

The opinions expressed by contributors to the IM-STC website and opinions expressed by contributors through discussion on the chapter listserve(s) are solely those of individual writers and do not reflect the opinions of IM-STC, STC, the members of the STC administrative council, the STC electronic media committee volunteers, or the individual chapters of STC.

Although the IM-STC website may include links providing direct access to other Internet resources, including websites, IM-STC has not participated in the development and does not exert any editorial or other control over those sites. IM-STC is not responsible for the accuracy or content of information contained in those sites.

Links from IM-STC to third-party sites do not constitute an endorsement by STC of the parties or their products and services. Email Privacy

IM-STC considers email information to be confidential and does not share or rent email addresses to outside entities. The chapter will, for a fee, send reviewed messages from Corporate Value Partners to members. These fees help support the chapter and Society.
